This different rosé is produced on the hillsides of Douro: it is a young, modern, and fruity wine, but more complex than what is usually found in a traditional rosé. The typical freshness of a rosé joins the expression of the typical varieties and maturation found in Douro. Clear, pinkish colour. Young, fruity aroma, with hints of strawberry and cherries. Like all Douro wines, it has volume and presents a soft and delicate structure that keeps the freshness due to its good acidity. Registered in 1913, the Lello brand is part of the history of Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges. The brand’s name harks back to its origins: the Lello family, more specifically Artur Lello and his son, Carlos Lello. Early on, these two joined the Borges family in the management of the company and contributed in a major way to embedding the know-how and art of making good wine.The name Lello has been kept on as a tribute to the family.
